A Toast to a New Beginning..

I've always felt the desire to pen the words that I could not speak. Being able to express yourself with undivided attention, is really a glorious feeling. Makes you feel like time's stood still and just for a moment, people are actually taking notice of you. Just for a few moments, people will actually heed to your words, let it sink in, believe, or just plain toss it away as poppy-cock. And I certainly don't believe in any way, that every post of mine will make friends, but if people can so much as hear me, and allow themselves to stop and reflect about what I am saying- even for a minute- then I have succeeded. And my entire purpose of writing these blogs is fulfilled. I honestly have no idea what I am going to specifically write about. This is, after all my first post.. for a "blog project" idea that materialized out of mere google search for translations to a song! Anyway, I have been working on a short story of mine, for a few months.. I am a little embarrassed to say that the passion and excitement that I had started it with, died pretty quickly when I hit a writer's block, but hopefully with the help of a few ideas that have sparked up, I'll continue working on that soon, again. And maybe I could post a few excerpts once in a while, and you could by my online editing buddies. Well here's to a new beginning. Signing off, Lavishly Lifeless..
